“Ask and you Shall Receive: Getting help from the
learning center & disability services”
In our last webinar, we talked about the difficulties
that many new students face as they adjust to the more demanding coursework and
expectations of college. SPOILER ALERT: Writing a paper the night before it’s
due and skimming your notes right before an exam are not effective strategies
in college! But don’t worry—RU-C has plenty of tutoring & learning support
resources available, both online and in-person to support your success. This
webisode contains all the information you’ll need to know, including how to get
timely disability accommodations if you need them! Plus, we’ve got Aurelio as our guest speaker here
to provide you with some great advice from the student perspective about setting
yourself up for success, asking for help when you need it, managing a part-time
job, and getting involved around campus!
