"Life Happens: Supportive services in times of trouble, crisis, & need"
Ever thought about what you might do if a family
emergency, sudden illness, or injury prevented you from getting to class? What
about actions to take if you’re accused of an academic integrity violation?
What do you do if you’re a witness to or victim of sexual assault or
relationship violence?
Life happens, and often times students are not equipped
with the necessary information to make important decisions that could
significantly impact their success at RU-C. This webisode is meant to
prepare
new (and current) students ahead of time with information about the
supports
offered by the Dean of Students (DOS) Office and Office of Violence
Prevention & Victim Assistance (VPVA). We’ve even got a guest
appearance from our very own Scarlet Scholar superstar, Chris Cato, to
talk
more about his part-time work in the DOS office!
