“RU Okay?: Utilizing student health services for your physical and mental health needs”
Did you know that the Student Wellness Center is one
of
the most widely utilized offices on campus? Counseling is available for
students
who are looking to take care of their mental health (SO IMPORTANT!), and
routine medical care can be provided for those who can’t get to a
physician
off-campus. And don’t forget about the food pantry--A place where
students can
come to get grocery items when they’re running low on food or can’t get
to a
store in time. Did we mention that all of this is FREE?! This webisode
includes important details about the services provided, levels of
confidentiality, how to inform the office about any chronic illnesses,
and how to make appointments to see a counselor or medical doctor. Dr.
Serra and Dr. Prior joined us to answer student questions too. Take a
look at the recording so that you know who they are!
