"Life Happens: Supportive services in times of trouble, crisis, & need"
Ever thought about what you might do if a family emergency, sudden illness, or injury prevented you from getting to class? What about actions to take if you’re accused of an academic integrity violation? What do you do if you’re a witness to or victim of sexual assault or relationship violence? Life happens, and often times students are not equipped with the necessary information to make important decisions that could significantly impact their success at RU-C. This webisode is meant to prepare new students ahead of time with information about the supports offered by the Dean of Students (DOS) Office, the Office of Violence Prevention & Victim Assistance (VPVA), and more. You’ll get to hear directly from staff members, Kayleigh and John, as well as Stephanie—one of our very own Scarlet Scholars!

- Dean of Students, VPVA, and Office Military and Veteran Affairs are all located on the 3rd floor of the campus center
- Be sure that you are in the know about the Raptor Creed (Student code of conduct) and your responsibilities and expectations as a Rutgers-Camden student
- Information about the academic integrity policy and processes
- Remember: Alert your coach or DOS staff member as soon as you encounter an extenuating issue that may impact your ability to get to class or complete your work. Don't wait until it's too late!! There are options available to assist you!
